What we do with your feedback if a shop asked you after a job.
If you got a feedback link after a job, this page is mainly for you. Rapid Feedback (also written RapidFeedback) is the product. Five Star Local at fivestarlocal.co is the same business.
What we collect about you
The shop types your name and email so they can ask you for feedback. When you use the feedback link, we store:
- Your name and email
- Your rating and any comments
- The date and time you submitted
The host that serves the page may also see basic technical data, such as browser or device type. That is normal for showing a website.
How we use it
The rating and comments you submit on our form go to the shop only. That Rapid Feedback reply does not go public. We do not post it to any directory. We do not send those comments to Google.
Rapid Feedback is not a review site. Google is. We may point you to the shop’s public Google review page. We only send you there. We do not write or post the Google review. What you put on Google is between you and Google, and that is what can go public. You do not have to leave a Google review. Your Rapid Feedback reply stays private. If you indicate on Rapid Feedback that you were unhappy with the service, the comments are passed along to the shop so they can make it right.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.
The shop owns the list
The shop decided to ask you for feedback. They are responsible for their customer list and for the emails they send, including anti-spam law. If you want your information changed or deleted, start with the shop. You can also ask us using the contact details below and we will help.
How long we keep it
We keep your name, email, and reply while the shop’s account is active, and for a reasonable time after. We delete sooner if you or the shop ask and the law allows it.
Cookies
This site may use cookies or similar tools so the pages work. You can block cookies in your browser. Some pages may then not work.
If you are a shop
We also keep your business signup details and whether your plan is a trial or paid. After a 90-day free trial with no credit card, the paid plan is $49 USD per month. You can cancel anytime. Payments go through Stripe. We do not receive or keep your card number. End customers of your shop are not charged.
Who helps us run this
We use other companies to host the site and to send mail from the shop’s own Gmail or Outlook. They only get what they need for that job. Some may process data outside Canada, including the United States.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete information we hold about you. If a shop emailed you, start with them. You can also use our Contact page.
